This shot, with the deep red and green, reminds me of the darker side of a woodland fairy tale.
Actually more like Snow White than Red Riding Hood.
Maybe the poisoned fruit that the wicked queen gave to Snow White was an oversized rose hip instead of an apple…
I took this photo last month. What caught my attention was the composition possibility of the swooping stem of these wild rose hips along eith the way the autumn morning light hit them.
