
Butting Heads

This is a case of literally butting heads.
These nanny goats had been let out of the barn to run about the pasture with the kid goats in between rain showers. They were enjoying the wet grass at their feet and a little play time. It was fun to watch one of these nannies rear up on her hind legs and ram her head into the other – it seemed to be all in good fun.
The goats were at Triangle J Farm in Albany, Oregon.

As for this photograph, I like the way another goat’s back helps frame this shot. I think it adds interest to the composition.
